Product Details
Stellite alloy flash trimming knives are mainly used as cutting tools in the field of railway rail welding. They are designed to remove weld flash formed at the joints after rail welding and can withstand extreme operating conditions. Stellite alloys feature excellent red hardness, with their hardness changing slowly at high temperatures, thus maintaining good wear resistance—making them the preferred material for flash trimming knives. Stellite alloy flash trimming knives are commonly manufactured from Stellite 6, with a hardness of HRC 38–44, and can still retain sufficient hardness and strength even at a high temperature of 800℃.
Application Fields
Stellite alloy flash trimming knives are mainly used in the railway industry to remove excess solder at the joints after railway rail welding.
Advantages and Services
The advantages of Stellite alloy flash trimming knives are reflected in their excellent wear resistance. Their service life can be significantly prolonged, which greatly reduces the tool replacement frequency and maintenance costs.
